Two Ways to Fit Your Production Schedule

Cut Inline After Your Dryer

Position AcroShear downstream from the DTF dryer to cut film after printing and curing. LiDAR monitors the available film loop, allowing the cutter to pause when it needs more material instead of pulling against the upstream equipment.

Process Printed Rolls Separately

The included unwind module feeds previously printed and cured rolls into AcroShear. Schedule cutting independently when you want to finish rolls separately from the printing process.

How AcroShear Controls the Cut

Cutting Information Printed on the Film

The included Automated Production Application generates crosscut marks, slitter-position information, and job-change information independently of the printer RIP. Printed registration marks guide crosscut positioning, while QR information communicates changes between jobs.

Slitter Setup for Each Layout

The five slitter combinations provide ten independently driven rotary shear positions, with two positions per combination. Engage the combinations required for the job. Slitter changes are operator-guided, with QR information providing setup details.

Film Transport That Avoids the Printed Area

AcroShear drives the film along its edges to help keep printed artwork away from the transport rollers. A relaxed film loop between the dryer and cutter allows LiDAR monitoring to manage the available material.

Controls Within Reach

A 3.5" touchscreen displays production information and system controls. An integrated Help Menu, LED status indicators, and an automatic startup equipment check provide guidance for the operator.
