How Does DTF Printing Work?

The DTF-12H2 prints designs onto special PET transfer film using an expanded CMYKOG color system.

The first print head lays down the color layer using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Orange, and Green inks, allowing the printer to reproduce a wider range of colors and smoother transitions in graphics.

The second print head prints a precise white underbase that aligns perfectly with the design. This white layer allows vibrant color reproduction on both light and dark garments.

After printing, a moisture-seeking adhesive powder is applied to the transfer. The transfer is then cured so the adhesive bonds with the ink.

When heat pressed onto a garment, the PET film is peeled away, leaving behind a soft, flexible, and durable print.
