If you’re not receiving the 6-digit login code, the most common reason is that your email provider is filtering or blocking the message.

The code is sent automatically through Shopify’s secure system, and in some cases—especially with work or school email addresses—those messages can be delayed, sent to Spam or Junk, or held in a security quarantine.

Please check your Spam/Junk folder, as well as Promotions, Updates, or All Mail (if using Gmail), and try searching your inbox for “Shopify” or “login code.”

If you’re using a corporate or school email account, your organization’s email security system may be preventing the message from reaching your inbox. In that case, you may need to contact your IT department to check their quarantine or allowlist Shopify emails.

Also, please confirm that the email address entered during login is spelled correctly and matches the inbox you’re checking.

You can also select the option to resend the code and allow up to 5 minutes for it to arrive, as occasional delivery delays can occur.
